Carl Ribbegårdh transitioned from SDH to S1 in 2017. The World Cup season started out in the lower middle positions, but ended with a 6th place in the last race of the season, claiming 2 top 10 results.
During his SDH carreer, Carls best World Cup result was a 3'rd place in the Riberal track in Andorra 2016. His top speed with standard downhill equipment is 192.926 km/h making it the 3'rd fastest standard equipment speed in both Sweden and the Nordic countries.
Carl started skiing at a very young age. He was more interested off piste, Glen Plake and air time than gates. In the 90's snowboarding boom things changed when Carl found alpine race boards. He raced the national alpine snowboard racing series for several years. When opportunity is given, he still likes alpine masters racing on skis.
Summertime Carl is a Windsurfer with a passion for GPS speedsurfing. He is a family father of 4 kids, living in the countryside in Sweden.
